If you're looking for really good Indian food, this restaurant will hit the spot! Everything was spot on and not too spicy. Parking is a bit annoying to find but totally worth looking for after you're done eating.

You don't always have to go to Jackson Heights for tasty Indian. My sister-in-law is from Bangladesh, and this is the place where she and my brother order from in the neighborhood. So when my girlfriend and I were babysitting my niece, we ordered vegetarian samosas, palak paneer, daal tarka yellow, and a mango lassi. Delivery has a higher minimum than usual ($25), so we added the beverage. It took nearly an hour, but the delivery person was friendly. Once we opened our order, we were disappointed that it didn't include rice. Usually, it's a given with the meal, and if not, they ask if you want to include it with your order. Thankfully, there was some cooked rice in the fridge and we heated it up. The vegetarian samosas were a little boring: lightly seasoned, mostly potato, crisp pastry. The palak paneer was very good, flavorful and absolutely loaded with paneer cubes. The menu says that the spinach is fresh, but it looks like frozen chopped spinach (wouldn't you have whole leaves if it was fresh?). The daal tarka yellow (yellow lentils) were spicy and flavorful, but a little too salty. The mango lassi was sweet and satisfying. My sis likes the Indo-Chinese food from here (she calls it "brown people Chinese"), but I didn't realize until later. Next time, I'll try the lo mein. Overall, quite tasty. But they ought to include rice with the order if it's $7.50+ per dish.
